– Check-in time is 2 pm. A valid government-issued photo ID is required
– $20 cash key deposit and full payment is required upon check-in
– Check-out is 10 am. Departing guests must remove all belongings from their room. Short-term luggage storage is available
– Room allocation cannot be guaranteed. Bairnsdale Workers Accommodation reserves the right to change an allocation at any time at own discretion
– Bairnsdale Workers Accommodation is a strictly non-smoking premise. Ashtrays are provided outside the building for guests who wish to smoke. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund
– Guest responsible for fire alarm activation will be liable for the fines applied by the Fire Brigade unless an actual fire emergency has occurred. Note: the hardwired alarms can be set off by things such as but not limited to hairdryers, straighteners, aerosol cans, smoking, cooking without the use of the range hood, showering without the use of the fans and tempering of alarms. The fees can be $2500 per vehicle dispatched
– Personal property; guests are responsible for their own belongings at all times
– Bairnsdale Workers Accommodation will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other travel services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, government regulation or changes in the itinerary
– Bairnsdale Workers Accommodation does not represent employers; we will not get involved nor are we responsible for any dispute between guests and employers. Guests are responsible to do their own research and due diligence regarding employment
– No external visitors are allowed. If this occurs, you immediately need to leave the premise and no refund given
– Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am / No animals are allowed
– Upon check out, you must drop your key in the dropbox, strip your bed and place dirty linen in the laundry tub, remove your food from dry store and fridge and wipe clean tubs and make sure your bed and room is clean – failure to comply results in no key deposit refund
– Room rates may change in line with industry standards. If this occurs 2 week’s notice will be given
– It is up to the owner’s discretion as to whether your stay will be extended
– We do not accept bookings made by those under the age of 18
– Unless you book and pay your bed in advance, we cannot guarantee future availability
